Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in AWS technologies including S3, EC2, VPC, EKS, ECS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and IAM (3-4 skills required)
- Experience with EKS/Kubernetes and Terraform is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with developers and team members
- Ability to automate processes to ensure the environment can scale efficiently
- Skills in optimizing operational workflows for enhanced reliability and security
- Experience in troubleshooting and training users in self-service diagnostics
- Familiarity with managing events and incidents in public cloud settings, particularly AWS
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced-level support for the AWS platform, managing numerous applications
- Act as the primary contact for application developers using a ticketing system
- Maintain effective communication with users at various organizational levels
- Develop and implement automation strategies to support scalability
- Improve operational processes to bolster efficiency, security, and reliability
- Guide users in self-diagnosing and resolving issues quickly
- Conduct in-depth investigations to identify root causes and document preventive measures
- Offer support for public cloud environments, focusing on AWS
- Efficiently manage incidents and events as they arise
