Requirements
Must:
- 12-15 years of experience in software testing and test automation
- Strong programming capabilities in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
- Extensive experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and Appium
- Proficient in API testing with tools such as REST Assured, Postman, Karate, or similar
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD solutions like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- In-depth understanding of microservices architecture and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner
- Strong knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), test design patterns, and data management
- Familiar with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the test automation strategy for enterprise applications
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust automation frameworks (UI, API, Mobile, and Performance)
- Oversee architectural decisions for testing and ensure adherence to best practices across teams
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level SDETs and QA engineers
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes
- Collaborate with developers during design and code reviews to enhance testability
- Conduct advanced root cause analysis and implement defect prevention tactics
- Maintain quality standards throughout functional, regression, performance, security, and reliability testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to establish quality metrics and assess release readiness
- Evaluate and incorporate new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies
