Requirements
Must:
- 15+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a minimum of 5 years in a QA leadership position
- Strong proficiency in test automation, API testing, and designing test strategies
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, RestAssured, or Cypress
- Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, Xray, TestRail)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field
Responsibilities
- Spearhead QA initiatives across various applications, guaranteeing comprehensive test coverage and high-quality releases
- Design and execute both manual and automated test plans, including test cases and regression suites
- Develop and uphold automation frameworks utilizing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to establish acceptance criteria and enhance testability
- Drive continuous integration and testing processes using platforms like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, and API testing
- Identify, document, and manage defects through issue-tracking systems like JIRA
- Mentor junior QA engineers and advocate best practices in quality engineering
