Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in test automation and quality assurance
- Proficiency in testing frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit
- API testing expertise using REST Assured, Postman, SoapUI
- Knowledge of performance testing tools: JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
- Programming capabilities in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript
- Experience in database testing and data validation techniques
- Proficient in test management software: Jira, TestRail, Zephyr
- Understanding of microservices and cloud computing architectures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leadership qualities and mentoring experience
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Risk-based testing approach
Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement the QA strategy, test design, and quality benchmarks across various projects
- Design and establish scalable test automation frameworks
- Lead comprehensive testing efforts, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes for test automation and quality checkpoints
- Conduct API, database, performance, and security assessments
- Evaluate requirements and designs for testability and potential risks
- Mentor QA engineers and guide testing teams
- Foster defect prevention, conduct root cause analyses, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices
Description
We are seeking a QA Developer based in Texas, tasked with shaping and executing our quality strategy across applications and platforms. This role blends hands-on automation development with quality architecture and leadership, aimed at ensuring high reliability, performance, and security of our enterprise systems. You will collaborate closely with our engineering, product, and DevOps teams, embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
