Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of one year of FLOWCAL experience reviewing and modifying liquid balance configurations and related volumetric data.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
- An inclination for data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to oversee multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can change swiftly.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Flow-Cal or other liquid measurement systems is an advantage.
- For the Specialist/Analyst level: a Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience, along with 2-5 years of pertinent experience.
- For the Senior Specialist/Analyst level: a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, plus 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
- For the Lead Specialist/Analyst level: a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, along with 8+ years of pertinent experience.
Responsibilities
- Input third-party volumes and liquid quality data manually.
- Utilize measurement data system tools and reports to analyze both imported and manually entered volumes and liquid quality data to ensure accuracy across all measurement units.
- Ensure the integrity of meter and volume records in the measurement data system for assigned assets.
- Generate, review, and distribute various analytical reports required for validating measurement data accuracy.
- Offer loss/gain support to accounting, product movement, field measurement, and operations teams in tracking and resolving custody transfer discrepancies in line with SOX and internal measurement regulations, codes, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with third-party interconnecting companies to ensure timely and precise measurement data exchange.
- Work alongside field measurement operations to prepare and provide both current and historical meter details for verifying gross and net volumes, as well as mass balances, applicable to daily and monthly G/L resolutions.
- Cooperate with measurement technicians and field operations supervisors to address balance discrepancies.
- Reconcile tank tickets within measurement or accounting systems alongside SCADA-generated reports for designated assets.
- Reconcile truck tickets in the measurement system for assigned assets.
- Prepare, review, and distribute monthly G/L reports for Refined Products Pipelines and Terminals.
- Analyze meter factors by system and terminal, providing explanations for any variance factors pertaining to assigned assets.
- Compile Gain/Loss data by batch, PL system, location, and area for assigned assets.
- Organize and conduct balance review meetings with field measurement and operations teams for all assigned pipeline assets.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all balance review meetings and edits made to balance configurations and reports.
