Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
- Exceptional customer service and team collaboration skills
- 10 years of experience in application support
- In-depth knowledge of Physical (Oil, NGLs, Refined Products) and Financial commodities
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational database principles
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Remedy and ServiceNow
- Understanding of front-to-back office data flow in RightAngle, including Deal Capture, Contract Management, Lease Center, Credit, Risk, Scheduling, Inventory, and Settlements
- Ability to develop complex pricing provisions and report views
- Experience testing business scenarios in RightAngle from deal capture to invoicing
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proven initiative and capability to work effectively under pressure while meeting tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Engage daily with end-users, developers, and managers to enhance RightAngle
- Record issues and enhancement requests with sufficient detail for the development team to address
- Respond to inquiries from end-users and assist with data-related challenges
- Develop and uphold system functional design documents
- Conduct analysis, testing, and deployment for RightAngle upgrades, patches, and custom code releases
- Adhere to established change management procedures and internal protocols
- Be available for after-hours support in critical business situations
- Contribute to our best practices library and provide mentorship to team members
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Ensure compliance with corporate requirements
- Communicate effectively across all organizational levels
Description
We are seeking a Principal Specialist for IT ETRM Systems to support the ION RightAngle application and its customizations and integrations. Our team values strong communication and organizational skills, particularly in customer service. We offer a full-time position with benefits including 401(k), dental and health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance. This role is based in-person and will allow you to contribute significantly to our ongoing projects while mentoring others in the team.
