Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- 8+ years of experience in application support
- Strong knowledge of Physical (Oil, NGLs, Refined Products) & Financial commodities
- Proficient understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
- Experience with ticketing systems like Remedy or ServiceNow
- Understanding of front to back-office system data flow in RightAngle, covering Deal Capture, Contract Management, Lease Center, Credit, Risk, Scheduling, Inventory, and Settlements
- Ability to design complex pricing provisions and reports
- Competent in testing business scenarios in RightAngle spanning from deal capture to invoicing
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work effectively under pressure while meeting tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Collaborate daily with end-users, developers, and managers to enhance and support the RightAngle application
- Document issues and proposed enhancements thoroughly for the development team to address technical challenges and create solutions
- Respond to end-user inquiries and assist in resolving data-related issues
- Develop and maintain functional design documentation for the system
- Conduct analysis, testing, and deployment for RightAngle system upgrades, patches, and custom code releases
- Adhere to established change management protocols and internal guidelines
- Be available to provide after-hours support for critical business situations and planned tasks
- Contribute to a library of best practices and mentor fellow team members
- Manage multiple concurrent tasks with minimal supervision
- Ensure compliance with corporate requirements and standards
- Facilitate effective communication across all organizational levels
