Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or equivalent experience
- At least 8 years of relevant industry experience, including 2 full SAP project life cycle implementations
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on implementation experience with SAP SD/IS-OIL module
- Strong knowledge of the sales to cash process (SD/IS-OIL); familiarity with resource related billing (RRB) is highly valuable
- Extensive expertise in sales and distribution, physical sales, purchase/exchange contracts, pricing, and invoicing in SAP
- Proven ability to design and configure SAP effectively within areas of specialization
- Functional knowledge of integration with Finance modules is preferred
- Solid understanding of the interconnections between different SAP modules and their functional dependencies
Responsibilities
- Provide SAP support to Energy Transfer users in both functional and technical domains
- Research and resolve production problems and enhancement requests by modifying system configuration as needed
- Conduct daily troubleshooting and act as first-response support for SAP production systems, available for 24/7 assistance
- Oversee SAP QTC/IS-OIL modules, translating business challenges into system configurations to meet requirements
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IS-OIL functions, ensuring accuracy in sales, purchase deals, order processing, pricing, scheduling, and invoicing
- Collaborate across business levels to analyze and detail business processes, converting high-level requirements into SAP specifications
- Implement recommended process improvements and new functionalities following approval
- Offer industry best practices to enhance business process strategies
- Develop functional specifications for both new and existing interfaces and ensure proper data integration with non-SAP systems
- Mentor staff by providing SAP training and facilitating knowledge transfer to ensure robust understanding of configurations and processes
- Ensure compliance with SOX control processes during changes or enhancements to systems
