Requirements
Must:
- 3-5+ years of experience with F5 technologies, encompassing BIG-IP modules such as LTM, APM, and GTM/DNS.
- Proficient in crafting and troubleshooting iRules.
- Solid knowledge of Layer 4-7 traffic management, HTTP protocols, and SSL/TLS encryption.
- Experience with F5 WAF and security policies.
- Understanding of network protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, Python, or REST APIs for F5 management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adeptness in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement F5 BIG-IP solutions, including LTM (Local Traffic Manager), DNS, and APM (Access Policy Manager).
- Develop and deploy SAML/OpenID Connect authentication methodologies.
- Configure and manage advanced F5 iRules and policies to enhance business-critical applications.
- Optimize application performance through load balancing, SSL offloading, and traffic routing implementations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to F5 devices, ensuring consistent availability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate F5 solutions into the existing network infrastructure.
- Monitor F5 devices and applications using analytics tools to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Implement F5 WAF configurations to safeguard against web-based threats.
- Automate routine tasks using APIs, Ansible, or alternative frameworks.
- Maintain and update F5OS, system documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Stay informed about the latest F5 technologies and industry best practices.
