Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for education. - 2-5 years of experience working with SCADA systems. - Familiarity with CygNet SCADA is advantageous; experience with other Automation, EFM Collection, or SCADA systems will be considered. - Preferred experience in gas and/or liquids pipelines with knowledge of measurement technologies, process control automation, device protocols, networking, and telecommunications. - Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities, with multitasking capabilities. - Experience with the Windows operating system and server management. - Ability to adhere to controlled procedures and change management protocols while maintaining database and display standards. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. - Capacity to independently prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Competence in taking direction and collaborating effectively within teams while engaging with all levels of management, engineering, operations, and field personnel.

Responsibilities

- Configure and administer SCADA systems. - Develop databases and graphical displays for Control Center operations. - Manage system interfaces, business data processes, and reporting. - Collaborate with Field Personnel and the Control Center to identify points for SCADA system integration during field site projects. - Take part in lineout testing to ensure compliance with regulatory mandates. - Work closely with Field Personnel to set up, test, and resolve data polling issues from SCADA systems to remote PLCs and RTUs. - Ensure that the SCADA application consistently empowers pipeline controllers to operate safely. - Provide 24/7 support to the Control Center on a rotational basis. - Document alterations, secure necessary approvals, and submit changes. - Perform other related duties as assigned.
