Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- Title conferred will depend on years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with applicable codes and regulations including USDOT CFR 192 and 195, API, ASME, ASNT, OSHA, and NACE
- Ability to understand, utilize, and adhere to contracts and agreements within scopes of work
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written); proficiency in computer skills; capability to interact effectively with property owners and government agencies at all levels
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills; adaptable to changing priorities
- Team-oriented with willingness to assist beyond own discipline
- Capacity to acquire new skills and knowledge to support the Manager - Engineering in their absence
Responsibilities
- Provide daily engineering and technical assistance to liquid pipeline operations
- Conduct hydraulic calculations and simulations; assist with MOP determination and Surge Studies; manage Power and DRA budgeting
- Update P&IDs and establish operating, alarming, and shutdown set points for pipeline operations
- Engage in the MOC process for engineering evaluations and approvals
- Oversee the full project lifecycle for Operations Maintenance Capital and Expense Projects
- Assess potential exposures and relocations
- Support investigations by providing technical insights for Abnormal Operating Conditions (AOCs), Mechanical/Electrical/Control (MEC) failures, and Environmental/Health/Safety (EHS) incidents
- Assist liquid pipeline operations during DOT inspections
- Collaborate with Ops/Optimization Engineering Team
- Work in coordination with Systems Planning Team, Scheduling, and Commercial Teams
