Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 2 - 5 years of experience in gas compression equipment or a related field
- Desired experience with production equipment
- Familiarity with industry-standard production equipment packages
- Proficiency in Ariel Compressor Sizing Program
- Proficiency in Caterpillar Engine Sizing Program
- Proficiency in Waukesha Engine Sizing Program
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Experience in process simulation is a plus
- Excellent writing and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment
- Capacity to work independently and take responsibility for meeting deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities with minimal supervision
- Commitment to taking ownership of assignments and staying focused on objectives
- Capability to apply ASME, API, NEC, and OSHA guidelines to package applications
- Ability to read, comprehend, and provide feedback on technical specifications
- Skill in reading and modifying technical P&ID diagrams
- Capacity to lead and mentor fellow team members
Responsibilities
- Assess customer requirements to aid in developing estimates
- Create and design the ideal solution for each project or process of the customer
- Gain a deep understanding of customer technical and commercial specifications
- Identify key issues that may affect costs, timelines, or designs, and suggest alternative solutions
- Prepare precise project cost summaries, labor estimates, an exceptions list, and pricing schedules
- Use experience and judgment to strategize and achieve goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate closely with sales, project engineering, operations, quality assurance, and fellow application engineers
