Responsibilities
- Provide front desk coverage under general supervision following established guidelines
- Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments
- Welcome patients and register new patients in our EPIC system
- Arrange laboratory and off-site diagnostic tests as directed by physicians
- Verify insurance eligibility and explain covered benefits
- Process patient charges by calculating fees, applying insurance coverage, and recording payments in our computer system
- Assist with clinic set-up and provide additional office support as needed
Description
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Service Representative for our General Surgery department located in Naperville, IL. This full-time position offers a schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend or holiday shifts. Employees may be required to travel between our Naperville and Plainfield locations for coverage purposes.
