- Lead the design and execution of AI-driven capabilities within Encores applications, integrating intelligence into workflows, user experiences, and backend services. - Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to determine where AI and machine learning can significantly enhance decision-making, automation, personalization, and operational efficiency. - Design and construct reusable AI platform components, services, and patterns that application teams can adopt safely and consistently. - Utilize generative AI, machine learning, and Azure AI services to address real-world business challenges, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability. - Balance experimentation with readiness for production, ensuring AI features are observable, testable, and maintainable. - Establish standards, guardrails, and best practices for AI utilization within the application development sector. - Assess new Azure AI services and tools, recommending adoption when clear business value is evident. - Advocate for responsible AI practices including security, privacy, compliance, and awareness of costs. - Support and enhance production applications and AI-powered services. - Troubleshoot intricate issues related to performance, reliability, and data quality. - Enhance observability, monitoring, and operational maturity of AI and application services. - Identify opportunities to refine development workflows, automation, and deployment approaches. - Develop and maintain clear technical documentation encompassing architecture, AI patterns, and platform standards. - Empower application teams through documentation, shared services, and hands-on mentorship. - Contribute to a robust engineering culture focused on quality, accountability, and continuous enhancement.
