Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, finance, or statistics/mathematics preferred but not required
- Over 5 years of experience in data-centric business insights and recommendations, business analytics, and dashboard design
- Strong proficiency with advanced analytical tools (e.g., OLTP/OLAP data structures, advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects)
- Proficient in relevant domain languages (e.g., SQL Query)
- Skilled in applying advanced statistical methods (e.g., regression analysis, correlation, causation)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to engage effectively with all levels of leadership, including strong executive presence
- Advanced knowledge of the industry or demographic related to Hardware, Software, SaaS, Supply Chain, or Marketing is a plus
Responsibilities
- Utilize independent judgment and advanced analytical abilities to interpret complex objectives, trends, risks, and potential improvements through data collection, analysis, reporting, and forecasting
- Employ advanced analytical solutions to assist customer teams and enhance operational efficiencies
- Participate in high-complexity projects as an advisor, adjusting for factors such as client size, system quantity, and data dynamics
- Collaborate cross-functionally to act as a trusted advisor and expert, ensuring high-quality data is accessible for analysis and improved business comprehension
- Generate and present sophisticated data-driven insights, recommendations, and forecasts to stakeholders
- Engage with key stakeholders for planning and forecasting, ensuring understanding of impactful business queries for successful documentation and decision-making
- Mentor junior analysts while also seeking guidance on complex business challenges and projects
- Operate independently and reliably across tasks
