Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, computer science, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Four to five years of experience in data analysis and enterprise-grade systems such as HR, Benefits, and Payroll (e.g., PeopleSoft, Workday, SAP).
- Four to five years of experience in writing SQL across platforms like Oracle and MS SQL Server.
- Four to five years of experience liaising between business stakeholders and Information Systems Division personnel.
Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced data warehouse development including design, modeling, and metadata creation for effective data management.
- Collaborate closely with business subject matter experts to analyze and reconstruct business process rules and associated data streams.
- Convert business requirements into technical architecture for business intelligence solutions.
- Contribute to the strategic vision of the enterprise data warehouse by delivering Agile solutions.
- Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure timely data availability for business users.
- Provide support for the enterprise data warehouse solution in the event of failures.
- Adhere to best practices outlined by the governance council and data stewards.
- Conduct root cause analysis to address data integrity and reporting concerns.
- Create, deploy, and manage standardized data sources for enterprise use.
- Implement and oversee best practices for business intelligence security, particularly related to HIPAA compliance.
- Offer training and assistance on data usage and reporting tools like Tableau.
- Aid in establishing best practices for development, testing, migration, and error management.
- Assist in the creation and upkeep of comprehensive documentation appropriate for various audiences.
- Support the development, testing, and rollout of data warehouse processes.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
