Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in a Data Analyst role or a similar position with a strong emphasis on business analysis and analytics projects.
- Expertise in SQL programming within Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle environments, along with knowledge of database design principles.
- Proficient in visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to create engaging dashboards and reports.
- Strong programming skills in R and Python for statistical analysis and automation, along with experience in ETL processes using tools like Talend.
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies paired with project management skills to drive analytics projects from inception to implementation.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies for effective project collaboration; ability to adapt swiftly in a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience with linked data concepts and the capability to integrate diverse datasets for thorough analysis.
- Exceptional analytical abilities coupled with strong communication skills to translate complex data into understandable insights for stakeholders.
- Additional skills in VBA scripting, Bash (Unix shell), database design, and proficiency in documentation tools like Visio are highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive data analysis across ERF systems including V3locity, Salesforce (Clarity), and legacy Excel datasets.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support executive leadership and Board reporting, such as Clarity monthly performance reports.
- Execute data mining, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation across multiple systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Support the V3locity migration process, including data extraction, transformation, testing, and validation efforts.
- Integrate data across platforms to create a unified source of truth for performance measurement and operational reporting.
- Establish and document data governance standards, definitions, and workflows.
- Collaborate with Technology, Finance, Benefits Administration, and Communications teams to align reporting efforts with business objectives.
- Design, develop, and implement advanced data models and dashboards utilizing tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize critical metrics and trends.
- Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to gather requirements, define project scopes, and deliver impactful analytics solutions that align with business goals.
- Manage complete data workflows, including extraction, transformation (ETL), and loading processes using tools such as Talend, Bash scripts, VBA, and Python to ensure data precision and integrity.
- Create detailed database designs and enhance SQL queries within Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational databases to support scalable analytical solutions.
- Conduct thorough business analysis to uncover opportunities for process enhancements, cost reductions, or revenue generation through insightful data interpretation.
- Oversee project management tasks related to analytics initiatives, ensuring adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices for quality assurance and timely execution.
- Maintain documentation with Visio or similar tools for system architecture, data flows, and process workflows, while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends in analytics, linked data integration, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance analytical capabilities.
