Requirements
Must:
- Over 2 years of practical field technician experience (MSP, corporate rollouts, retail/hospitality, etc.)
- Ability to work comfortably on a ladder, lift 50 lbs, mount TVs and access points, ensuring a neat setup
- Strong experience in deploying Windows systems, capable of executing imaging tasks and troubleshooting issues
- Proficient with iPads, able to navigate simple on-screen instructions while our remote Intune admin manages the complex tasks
- Basic knowledge of Fortinet products is advantageous (at least have plugged in devices and set up switches/APs)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a professional appearance (business casual or tidy all-black attire) suitable for a spa environment
Responsibilities
- Physically install, mount, and properly arrange Fortinet equipment (FortiGate, FortiSwitches, FortiAPs) and complete initial setup steps
- Configure and image Windows 10/11 PCs and laptops (task sequence execution, domain joining, app installation, and testing)
- Install and connect Apple TVs (including network setup, AirPlay, and digital signage configuration)
- Handle iPads following a strictly hands-on approach — unbox, power on, progress through Remote Management, enable profile push, app installations, set up kiosk/guided access mode, label, and deliver to staff
- Collaborate remotely with our Network and Intune engineers during the transition, acting as their onsite eyes and hands
- Deliver calm, patient, and high-quality training and day-one assistance to spa staff, ensuring a friendly and approachable demeanor for non-tech-savvy users
- Take equipment installation photos, complete a straightforward IP/serial number spreadsheet, and return it to our team
- After project completion, serve as the paid on-call technician for the spa, with future engagements compensated per incident or day rate
