Requirements
Must:
- Strong hands-on experience as a full stack engineer, specifically with Python, Flask, and FastAPI.
- Proven track record of leading teams in modern cloud-centric environments.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS, containers, and distributed systems.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with technical teams and business leaders.
- A perspective that integrates technical expertise with commercial understanding, particularly in fast-paced, high-stakes settings.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of over 5 full stack engineers to deliver impactful applications in the private alternatives sector.
- Take ownership of the architecture, development, and ongoing evolution of approximately 15 Python-based applications using Flask and FastAPI, maintaining a hands-on approach where necessary.
- Design and enhance cloud-native, containerized solutions on AWS, focusing on infrastructure, scalability, and resilience while promoting modern CI/CD best practices for rapid and reliable delivery.
- Act as a trusted technical advocate, presenting solutions to non-technical stakeholders and converting business objectives into elegant engineering results.
- Foster a culture of curiosity, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Proactively explore and integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications and engineering processes to enhance efficiency and insights.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure that our organization remains technologically competitive in the private equity and FinTech arenas.
