Requirements
Must:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in business operations, corporate finance, strategy, or a prestigious analyst program with a focus on Excel
- Expert-level Excel capabilities; proficiency in building complex models, writing intricate formulas, and managing large datasets
- Strong understanding of pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP/INDEX/MATCH functions, array formulas, and conditional statements
- Experience in creating dashboards, reports, and analytical frameworks that are both functional and visually appealing
- Comfortable handling data from Smartsheet, SharePoint, and other business software
- Exceptional analytical thinking with meticulous attention to detail for accurate and thorough work
- Ability to function autonomously, juggle multiple tasks, and produce high-quality results within tight timelines
- Strong communication prowess, able to present complex analyses in a straightforward manner to senior leadership
- Comfortable managing up and thriving in a dynamic, high-expectation environment
- Preferred: Knowledge of VBA/macros, Power Query, SQL, or familiarity with alternative data tools
- Preferred: Background in audit, finance, risk, or compliance sectors
Responsibilities
- Construct intricate Excel models for financial analysis, variance reporting, and monitoring business performance
- Create advanced formulas (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, array formulas, nested IF statements, etc.) to streamline reporting and analysis
- Extract, clean, and manipulate extensive datasets from various sources including Smartsheet, SharePoint, and internal databases
- Develop dynamic dashboards utilizing pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting, and data validation
- Formulate KPI frameworks and scorecards that convert raw data into actionable insights
- Prepare executive materials for monthly business reviews, CFO reporting, and leadership meetings, all centered around Excel
- Design and uphold reporting templates and models for efficient updating and reuse
- Execute ad hoc analyses to swiftly and accurately address leadership inquiries
- Support cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives with thorough data tracking, analysis, and reporting
- Identify opportunities to automate routine tasks and enhance data quality through improved Excel workflows
- Collaborate with Internal Audit leadership while demonstrating strong communication skills and an executive presence
