Requirements
Must:
- We require proven experience as a hands-on solution architect within procurement or Source-to-Pay environments.
- We need deep knowledge of end-to-end procurement workflows and supplier management.
- We require strong expertise integrating procurement platforms with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or PeopleSoft Financials.
- We need solid experience with data flow, API design, and cross-system data mapping.
- We require a track record of leading architecture governance, facilitating workshops, and aligning stakeholders.
- We need the ability to create technical roadmaps, reference architectures, and solution blueprints.
- We require demonstrated experience mentoring engineering teams and reviewing designs and code.
- We need experience building procurement analytics, KPIs, and reporting structures.
- We require a background in data governance and master data management within procurement.
- We value experience applying AI and machine learning to procurement analytics and risk use cases.
- We require experience supporting vendor evaluations and build-versus-buy decisions.
- We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- We prefer a masters degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Technology Management.
- Preferred credentials include TOGAF 9.2 or higher, SAP procurement-related certifications, Coupa/Ariba/Jaggaer certifications, cloud solution architect certifications, CPSM, PMP, or SAFe Agilist.
Responsibilities
- We will define and steward the technical architecture for S2P, P2P, CLM, and SRM solutions.
- We will design integration approaches between procurement applications, ERP platforms, and external systems.
- We will develop reference architectures, solution designs, and technology roadmaps that support business objectives.
- We will assess build-versus-buy options and help lead software and vendor selection.
- We will ensure solution designs meet security, compliance, scalability, and performance standards.
- We will work closely with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and IT to gather requirements and clarify scope.
- We will lead solution workshops, RFP/RFI responses, and architecture review sessions.
- We will translate complex technical ideas for executives and non-technical audiences.
- We will provide technical oversight and ensure delivery aligns with approved architecture.
- We will review and approve detailed designs, data structures, API specifications, and integrations.
- We will collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to remove risks and unblock progress.
- We will conduct architecture checkpoints and provide approvals at major milestones.
- We will design procurement data models, KPIs, and reporting frameworks for spend and compliance.
- We will strengthen data governance and master data management practices across procurement.
- We will architect AI and ML solutions for spend classification, forecasting, and supplier risk scoring.
- We will establish standards, best practices, and reusable patterns for procurement solutions.
- We will mentor architects and technical leads and contribute to communities of practice.
- We will stay hands-on during implementation through code reviews, logic validation, and debugging.
- We will document current procurement processes, identify gaps, and define future-state workflows.
- We will design and oversee integrations with PeopleSoft Financials for procurement operations.
