Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in agile business analysis.
- Experience in application development as a software engineer.
- Knowledge of mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
- Experience with migration processes.
- Skilled in testing methodologies.
- Familiar with object-oriented design principles.
- Development expertise in one or more languages: COBOL, SAS, or other open-system languages.
- Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Prior experience with Snowflake environment tools like Elevate, Switchboard, and DBT is preferred.
- Familiarity with ETL processes is preferred.
- Experience with sFTP file transfer is preferred.
- Basic understanding of networking and firewall fundamentals.
- Experience with version control tools, ideally Git or GitHub.
- Knowledge of the complete software development lifecycle.
- Awareness of security best practices in software development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with card processing solutions such as TSYS or Mastercard is preferred.
- Quality assurance experience is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of SAS is preferred.
- Familiarity with Switchboard, DBT, or Snowflake is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new features while ensuring the quality of the software.
- Document and disseminate technical insights within the agile squad.
- Engage in developer communities of practice, adhere to best practices, and participate in code reviews.
- Remain updated on relevant technological advancements.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and risk management.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
