Requirements
Must:
- 4 to 6 years of practical experience as a Scrum Master, beyond academic scenarios
- 1 to 4 years of familiarity with project concepts and practices
- Proficiency in Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban
- Capability to manage challenging stakeholder relationships across large projects
- Bachelors degree or 5 years of equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree
Responsibilities
- Ensure Agile teams operate effectively and are shielded from unnecessary external interruptions
- Exhibit servant leadership by embodying Agile principles and behaviors
- Eliminate obstacles that hinder project delivery
- Analyze metrics to assess team and project health, such as velocity and burn-down charts
- Guide team members and advocate for Agile methodologies while ensuring compliance with processes
- Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including planning sessions, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
- Lead estimation activities using methods like story points and Planning Poker
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and team to maintain the backlog and task board, ensuring the quality of artifacts
- Identify and monitor impediments, risks, and dependencies until resolution
- Update the teams improvement backlog with commitments from retrospectives and communicate these along with end-of-sprint reports
