Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of development experience with KDB+, Java, and Python
- Strong knowledge of programming languages and data structures
- Practical experience with Linux and bash scripting
- Familiarity with application deployment automation and pipelines
- Experience with Apache Kafka or other event streaming systems is preferred
- Proven track record working in Agile project environments such as Kanban and Scrum
- At least 5 years of experience with user interface frameworks like Angular or React
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database systems
- Proficiency with DevOps and CI/CD tools including Kubernetes, Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, and Docker
- Experience in feature-driven development using source control systems such as Bitbucket, Stash, or Git
- Familiarity with Artifactory and API registries such as Apigee
- Understanding of automated deployment processes in uDeploy
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tackle complex problems
- Experience with REST microservice architecture
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain KDB+ applications for regulatory reporting across diverse asset classes
- Collaborate with business teams focused on regulatory reporting and technology teams to deliver complete solutions
- Contribute to architectural and design discussions to create scalable and reliable systems
- Develop and maintain REST microservices and data integration components
- Implement automation for deployment and configure CI/CD pipelines for consistent releases
- Provide support for event streaming and messaging integrations as required
- Work alongside Agile teams to plan, develop, test, and launch new features

This role involves the creation and maintenance of regulatory reporting applications across various asset classes, with a focus on delivering high-performing and reliable solutions that stand up to regulatory oversight.
