Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of professional experience in Vanilla JavaScript and React.js development.
- Proven experience in a lead or senior developer role with leadership duties.
- More than 3 years of experience in Node.js back-end development.
- Professional experience with TypeScript.
- Previous experience working with offshore teams, specifically in India.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience consuming REST APIs.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Extensive experience with semantic HTML, CSS, and SCSS styling.
- Familiarity with implementing accessibility standards.
- Experience in React unit testing utilizing Jest and either Enzyme or React Testing Library.
- Experience with React state management libraries like Redux or Apollo.
- Proficient in building and consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Knowledgeable in web development best practices including performance, security, and browser APIs.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with AWS services.
- Practical experience in automation testing tools like Cypress or Selenium.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and deliver major features across various web applications leveraging React.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to architect and execute scalable front-end and back-end solutions.
- Develop and utilize REST and GraphQL APIs to enhance application functionality.
- Create and apply semantic HTML, CSS, and SCSS focusing on accessibility and responsive layouts.
- Incorporate web performance, security, and browser API best practices in all outputs.
- Write unit tests using Jest and Enzyme or React Testing Library, and contribute to automated testing with Cypress or Selenium.
- Interact with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Utilize containerization and deployment strategies with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Collaborate with distributed and offshore teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality results.
