Requirements
Must:
- 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying web applications using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proven leadership in DevOps and deployment practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, GitHub workflows, and edge/proxy platforms like Akamai or Varnish.
- Demonstrated expertise in front-end technical design and system development for high-traffic, consumer-focused environments.
- Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, accessibility (a11y), and SEO best practices.
- Skilled in using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Strong communication abilities to influence, mentor, and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficient in leveraging data, telemetry, and analytics to drive engineering decisions.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or comparable hands-on experience.

Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of intricate, user-centric features utilizing React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

- Advocate for iterative enhancements in tools, workflows, and development methods.
- Perform comprehensive code reviews to elevate code quality while mentoring fellow engineers.
- Design and execute a holistic test strategy that encompasses automated tools, unit tests, and UI/end-to-end testing.
- Actively pinpoint technical debt and reliability challenges, while proposing remediation strategies.
- Enhance team capabilities in utilizing AI-driven engineering tools, such as GitHub Copilot, for development, testing, documentation, and refactoring.
- Provide on-call support during evenings and weekends for production systems when necessary.
