Senior Cybersecurity Architect

- Design, deploy, and manage next-generation firewalls from Palo Alto Networks, including Panorama and associated security services such as WildFire, Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, and Anti-Virus. - Formulate and enforce security policies, rule sets, and network segmentation strategies aligned with Zero Trust principles. - Act as the primary subject matter expert in Palo Alto security engineering, encompassing configuration and troubleshooting. - Architect and enhance secure remote access systems utilizing enterprise VPN technologies like Palo Alto GlobalProtect, applying least privilege and MFA controls. - Develop and implement wireless security strategies for corporate and guest networks, ensuring secure authentication and data encryption. - Create and execute secure DNS architectures, leveraging DNSSEC or private DNS solutions. - Lead the design and optimization of the enterprise SIEM, including device log integration, correlation rules, alerts, dashboards, and reporting. - Draft, maintain, and test the Incident Response Plan and associated playbooks while directing technical responses throughout the incidents lifecycle. - Conduct reviews post-incident to identify architectural vulnerabilities and propose both short-term and long-term security improvements. - Ensure all security architectures, policies, and procedures adhere to CJIS and other relevant regulations. - Establish and preserve enterprise security standards, control baselines, and reference architectures. - Perform regular security evaluations, recognize control weaknesses, and outline remediation plans. - Plan and implement security measures to manage access and prevent unauthorized alterations or exposure of data. - Assess and recommend innovative security technologies and products. - Formulate and clarify security policies and procedures while providing security awareness training and technical guidance.
