Requirements
Must:
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- DoD 8140 certification aligned to the 451 System Administrator work role when cyber-coded, such as Security+ as a baseline with SSCP or CISSP for senior practitioners; if not cyber-coded, certification may be designated as not applicable.
- Over 7 years of experience in RF engineering, particularly with cellular and RF technologies.
- Proven track record in assessing, engineering, and optimizing wireless solutions, including 4G and 5G technologies.
- Hands-on experience in conducting RF and cellular site surveys, including measurements of signal strength, propagation analysis, and coverage validation.
- Adept at designing and implementing wireless solutions for in-building and campus environments to enhance coverage, capacity, and reliability.
- Operational expertise in troubleshooting RF interference, signal degradation, and performance challenges in complex settings.
- Capability to contribute immediately in a mission-critical operational context with minimal ramp-up.
- Vendor or OEM certification relevant to deployed network or RF equipment or FCC GROL where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Leverage cellular and RF technologies to evaluate, design, and engineer secure wireless connectivity solutions in mission-critical federal settings.
- Carry out RF site surveys, assess signal strength and interference, and propose solutions to enhance in-building coverage, performance, and reliability.
- Engage in Agile execution while effectively communicating technical insights, recommendations, and the implications of solutions to technical teams and government stakeholders.
