Requirements
Must:
- 6+ years of experience developing native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Objective-C, and Xcode in an agile setting.
- Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and principles with expertise in XCTest and XCUITest.
- Familiarity with Swift concurrency, Combine, and asynchronous programming methodologies.
- Understanding of iOS architectural patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Proficient in adhering to Apple Human Interface Guidelines and ensuring accessibility in iOS development.
- Advanced skills in Git, including branching strategies and CI/CD practices.
- Solid understanding of HTTP APIs, networking concepts, and internet fundamentals.
- Experience with security protocols like OAuth and OpenID Connect.
- Comprehensive knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, serverless technology, and DynamoDB.
- Willingness to explore Android, web, and cloud technologies is a plus.
- Familiar with containerization tools, like Docker, and orchestration methods (preferred).
- Experience with end-to-end architecture emphasizing reusable components, security, A/B testing, personalization, analytics, and measurement.
Responsibilities
- Design and create native iOS features, ensuring the maintenance of high-quality application code.
- Implement testing standards and principles to guide software design for reliability and security.
- Develop and maintain automated testing scripts for unit, component, integration, functional, performance, scenario, and interoperability tests.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows to enhance release speed and production quality.
- Enable and advance mobile UI automation through XCTest and XCUITest, while supporting Android test automation where relevant.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive customer experiences and reusable components.
Description
We are seeking a Principal iOS Engineer focused on testing to help us build high-quality mobile experiences for iPhone, iPad, and wearables. This hybrid position allows for onsite work every other week in Merrimack, NH. We emphasize automated testing, CI/CD integration, and performance, giving you opportunities to influence mobile architecture and collaborate on broader platform capabilities.
