Requirements
Must:
- 6 to 8+ years of experience in web development and user experience, specifically with external websites.
- Comprehensive expertise in creating websites and digital experiences utilizing Wix Studio.
- Demonstrated front-end and back-end development and optimization experience within content management systems (CMS).
- Strong skills in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, React, Angular, and Figma.
- Familiarity with best SEO practices.
- Experience in enhancing web accessibility.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage projects effectively while meeting deadlines.
- Proficient communication skills to convey objectives and concepts to senior management and stakeholders.
- Understanding of design principles, including color theory, layout, and typography.
- Preferred experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and execute actionable solutions.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines while maintaining an orderly workflow.
- Active listening and collaboration skills to integrate feedback effectively.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, refine, and manage external-facing websites and digital experiences using Wix Studio and CMS tools.
- Work collaboratively with designers, producers, and communication teams from concept through final execution.
- Produce custom mockups and prototypes; implement front-end development for approved designs.
- Connect graphic design with technical implementation to ensure consistency with brand standards.
- Uphold accessibility standards and responsive design across all devices.
- Conduct ongoing user testing and research to enhance site performance and user experience.
- Regularly evaluate usability, speed, and quality factors; perform site audits and maintenance as necessary.
- Employ SEO best practices and refine CMS strategies to boost visibility and performance.
Description
We are seeking a Senior UX Designer/Developer to join our team in a hybrid onsite role in the Providence, RI area. In this position, you will design and develop high-quality external web experiences leveraging Wix Studio and modern front-end technologies while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and best practices in accessibility and SEO. Our compensation package includes a competitive hourly rate between $45.00 to $55.00, along with a comprehensive benefits package for W2 employees, encompassing medical, dental, vision, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
