Requirements
Must:
- Over 4 years of experience in developing policy administration systems utilizing OIPA, including configuration methods, integrations, AS Files, database architecture, and release management.
- Strong proficiency in Java for application maintenance and resolving defects.
- Experience with design patterns and UML methodologies.
- Familiarity with TDD and unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, along with exposure to Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor.
- Skilled with IDEs like Spring Tool Suite and Eclipse in both UNIX and Windows environments.
- Ability to write SQL and troubleshoot stored procedures in Oracle databases.
- A collaborative mindset with a penchant for initiative, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Understanding of Docker and cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure (preferred).
- AWS Certification is a plus (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Modernize and validate annuity contract generation and account opening applications using the OIPA platform.
- Configure and expand OIPA functionalities, inclusive of rules, screens, integrations, and release management protocols.
- Identify and resolve application issues through Java within a maintenance-centric workflow.
- Implement secure configurations for palettes and applications, encompassing roles, allocations, and valuation screens.
- Develop and sustain data intake and extraction patterns, including AS file integrations.
- Write and debug SQL queries and stored procedures relevant to Oracle databases.
- Utilize design patterns and UML for effective design and documentation processes.
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to deliver scalable, reliable solutions and facilitate upgrades from OIPA v10.2 to v11.
