Requirements
Must:
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft data technologies, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Synapse.
- 10 or more years of experience in designing star schemas and relational models.
- At least 8 years of experience in creating and managing ETL processes and operational data pipelines.
- Experience with integrating datasets for Power BI and applying data modeling practices aligned with visualization.
- Capable of independently leading projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with both business and technical teams.
- Familiarity with concepts related to data lakes and warehouses, including SQL, Delta, and Parquet.
- Experience with Databricks is a plus.
- Understanding of CRM systems and sales data structures is preferred.
- Knowledge of financial data modeling, securities, instruments, and portfolios is a plus.
- Ability to work remotely within East Coast business hours.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of a CRM-sourced data mart to enhance Power BI capabilities.
- Define and establish star schemas and data structures in relational databases.
- Create and manage ETL processes and data pipelines utilizing Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.
- Set and uphold best practices in data architecture and engineering.
- Partner with business stakeholders to convert requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Deliver hands-on coding while mentoring team members on modern data methodologies.
- Prepare the foundation for an enterprise data warehouse and outline the future roadmap for initiatives.
