Requirements
Must:
- 4+ years of experience in modifying and creating Linux kernel modules or low-level Linux drivers, preferably in networking
- 4+ years of experience in developing and managing Linux services utilizing systemd
- Comprehensive knowledge of the TCP/IP stack, NAT, firewalls, and VRFs
- Understanding of L2 networking concepts and technologies such as bridging and VLANs
- Familiarity with configuring IPsec tunnels using strongSwan
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python
- Ability to design and implement RESTful and gRPC APIs for inter-process and remote communication
- Skilled in diagnosing intricate networking and system-level issues across both user space and kernel space
- Practical experience with open-source networking tools such as tcpdump and Wireshark
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git
Responsibilities
- Manage Linux kernel modules, drivers, and user-space services for embedded networking devices
- Develop and adjust networking features, including VPN tunnels, NAT, firewalls, VRFs, and L2/L3 routing
- Create backend services in C/C++ and Python with a focus on performance, safety, and maintainability
- Examine system and networking behavior using diagnostic tools such as tcpdump and Wireshark
- Deploy and assess software updates in real or simulated network scenarios
