Lead Network Admin

- Assist in coordinating and implementing data communication systems. - Troubleshoot issues accurately, diagnose problems, and communicate solutions to colleagues or end users. - Manage the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network equipment. - Undertake research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to support procurement and development efforts. - Recommend, schedule, and execute network improvements, upgrades, and repairs. - Monitor network activity to ensure prompt identification of issues and optimize operations. - Liaise with data-communication vendors to resolve circuit or hardware issues effectively. - Create clear and timely documentation of network issues. - Stay updated on teleprocessing-network concepts and hardware through ongoing education and training. - Plan and coordinate the movement, placement, installation, and cabling of data communication equipment. - Contribute to the organizations strategy for the implementation of comprehensive network services. - Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate network infrastructure and provide collaborative recommendations with the network team or manager. - Evaluate new construction projects and locations for network advice and implementation. - Drive a vehicle to visit work sites and assist during emergencies or events as required.
