Requirements
Must:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in information security and IAM, covering authentication, authorization, and federation.
- Proven expertise with Auth0.
- Proven expertise with PingFederate.
- General experience in security engineering supporting IAM platforms.
- Familiarity with the Ping Identity suite including PingDirectory, PingFederate, PingAccess, or PingOne.
- Experience with integrating on-premises or hybrid environments with AWS or a similar cloud platform.
- Proficient in Unix/Linux system administration.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Shell or Python for automation and integration tasks.
- Understanding of distributed computing and directory replication methods.
- Knowledge of application and data security principles and prevalent vulnerabilities.
- Experience supporting migrations between Auth0 and Ping Identity stacks is preferred.
- Background in regulated sectors like financial services is preferred.
- Experience in collaboration with offshore teams is preferred.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience; Masters degree is preferred.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is preferred.
- CISSP certification is preferred.
- Ping Identity certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and manage Ping Identity and Auth0 infrastructure for customer and commercial identity services.
- Establish security and performance criteria for directory services and IAM integrations.
- Act as a subject matter expert and consultant on identity-related initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT and Information Security teams to merge Ping Directory with authentication, SSO, and federation solutions.
- Oversee and enhance directory performance, replication, and uptime.
- Formulate and maintain standards, procedures, and guidelines for directory services and IAM operations.
- Conduct root cause analysis and mitigate identity-related incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Assist with audits and compliance efforts by creating technical documentation and evidence of controls.
- Keep abreast of identity security threats, technologies, and best practices.
- Engage in risk assessments and suggest enhancements to identity infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and offshore teams.
