Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience with SQL
- Practical experience with Business Intelligence systems and ETL processes
- Proficient in IBM DataStage versions 8.5, 9.1, 11.3, 11.5, or 11.7
- Background in providing Level 1 production support
- Familiarity with both non-relational and relational databases such as SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, or MongoDB
- Experience in programming and/or designing with a back-end language like Java or J2EE
- Experience with DBT is preferred
- Technical degree or relevant work experience
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain data management systems
- Create high-performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes
- Ensure that systems align with business requirements and adhere to industry standards
- Integrate new data management and software engineering technologies into current data frameworks
- Develop methodologies for data mining, modeling, and production
- Create tailored software components and analytical applications
- Investigate and suggest innovative usages for existing data assets
- Utilize various languages and tools to establish system connections and data flows
- Collaborate with data architects, IT teams, and data scientists to fulfill project objectives
- Install and enhance disaster recovery strategies for data platforms
- Recommend enhancements for improving data reliability and quality
