Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of six years of experience in preparing and updating cost estimates using ACEIT.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in Microsoft Excel.
- Relevant experience in support of a DoD Program Executive Office (PEO), O6 Project Manager, or O5 Product Manager.
- Current DoD Secret clearance.
- Experience with DoD 5000.02 is preferred.
- BA or BS in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Active secret clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cost analysis to support lifecycle cost estimates and program office evaluations.
- Develop or assess cost estimates for systems development, demonstrations, and production strategies.
- Evaluate cost impacts on systems and programs, including analysis of prototype systems.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to formulate independent Government cost estimates that comply with Army and DoD review standards.
- Act as a team leader by providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Review and verify the quality and precision of deliverables produced by junior team members.
- Coordinate efforts with the Contracting Officer Representative.
Description
We are seeking a Cost Analyst to provide invaluable support to Army program offices at our onsite location in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. In this contract-to-hire role, you will have the opportunity to develop and evaluate lifecycle cost estimates while working closely with subject matter experts.
