Requirements
Must:
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt.
- Experience creating analytics and reports using a BI tool such as Mode or Tableau.
- Proven ability in supporting Finance and Accounting reporting and analytics.
- Experience in developing backend data models for reporting and insights.
- Capable of closely collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and experience thriving in a feedback-oriented environment.
- Python experience is preferred.
- Experience with ERP implementations is a plus.
- Prior experience in dynamic or fast-paced settings is advantageous.
- Ability to independently manage work while fostering cross-functional collaboration is preferred.
- Familiarity with Alteryx is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert user needs into scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
- Design and maintain reports and dashboards in Mode or equivalent BI tools to aid broader financial initiatives.
- Manage the complete reporting lifecycle from requirements collection to development, testing, and iterative enhancements based on user feedback.
- Develop and maintain backend data models using Snowflake and dbt to support reporting and analytical applications.
- Implement and uphold data quality controls, validation checks, and the reliability of reports and corresponding data models.
- Assist with financial and accounting reporting needs, including tasks related to evolving systems and processes.
- Partner with engineering and analytics teams to enhance data accuracy, efficiency, and usability.
Description
We are seeking a BI Analyst to create analytics and reporting solutions that facilitate financial decision-making and enhance data integrity. The role includes overseeing reporting from start to finish, collaborating with our Finance and Accounting teams, and developing data models in Snowflake and dbt.
