Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in back-end development utilizing Node.js and/or Java.
- Practical proficiency in creating RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with supporting systems focused on transactional processes or monetization.
- Strong understanding of system scalability, performance, and reliability principles.
- Experience collaborating within agile, cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of relational database management with Oracle or SQL.
- Exposure to cloud environments and CI/CD processes.
- Prior experience with e-commerce systems, including payment integrations and invoicing (preferred).
- Background with Shopify integrations (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and sustain scalable back-end services with Node.js and/or Java.
- Develop and manage RESTful APIs to fulfill commerce and integration requirements.
- Integrate backend services with Shopify and related e-commerce functionalities.
- Ensure the systems scalability, performance, reliability, and observability.
- Facilitate transactional and monetization processes while emphasizing data integrity.
- Work collaboratively within agile, cross-functional teams to deliver value incrementally.
- Utilize relational databases and optimize queries for Oracle or SQL platforms.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and maintain services in cloud environments.
