Requirements
Must:
- 5-10 years of experience in data engineering or a related discipline
- Strong practical knowledge of the Azure data ecosystem (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, etc.)
- Experience with Databricks and Spark-based data processing
- Proficient in advanced SQL
- Skilled in Python for data processing and pipeline development
- Proven track record in designing and building scalable data pipelines
- Experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders
- Demonstrated capability to lead projects or oversee technical delivery
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define data solutions
- Design, construct, and optimize data pipelines utilizing Azure and Databricks
- Develop and uphold data models aligned with reporting and analytics requirements
- Enhance and support BI and reporting solutions
- Oversee project delivery from requirements through to deployment
- Ensure quality, performance, and scalability of data solutions
- Review code and uphold engineering best practices
- Diagnose data issues and resolve production challenges
- Mentor team members and contribute to overall delivery quality
