Requirements
Must:
- Active Top Secret clearance required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience preferred; alternative qualifications may include certifications or past work experience demonstrating capability.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is desirable.
- Proficiency with tools including AWS, Microsoft, Windows Server, Citrix, NetApp, Dell Unity, Dell Avamar, Hyper-V, Microsoft SQL Server, Atlassian, Tenable, Nessus, STIG Viewer, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, WSUS, and BigFix.
- Experience with Federal Government cybersecurity standards, ideally within the Department of Justice.
- Strong interest in emerging technologies and adaptability to new tools.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to produce comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve server issues relating to connectivity, storage, service availability, application status, and physical hardware.
- Implement and maintain STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guides) compliance for both Windows and Linux environments.
- Manage vulnerabilities by identifying, tracking, and remediating security risks; conduct regular system patching and address compliance gaps discovered during scans.
- Create, apply, and troubleshoot group policies effectively.
- Monitor system performance and report anomalies as needed.
- Conduct regular data backups and oversee disaster recovery operations.
- Leverage technical and business knowledge to enhance processes for the deployment and maintenance of system infrastructure.
- Collaborate both independently and as part of a team to refine system solutions and improve service delivery.
- Deploy, test, and certify all features, components, and application dependencies while addressing interoperability challenges.
