Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree
- TS/SCI clearance
- Current SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) Certification
- At least 4 years of experience using Jira to track workflow for the Agile Release Train (ART)
- Previous experience as a RTE for a program with over 50 Full-Time Equivalents (FTE)
Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance the value flow through the ART and Solution Train using tools like Program and Solution Kanban
- Facilitate readiness for Program Increment (PI) planning by supporting vision and backlog preparation, plus pre- and post-PI Planning meetings
- Lead the PI planning event
- Assist in monitoring the execution of features and their capabilities
- Support economic decision-making through feature and capability estimation by teams, aggregating to Epics when necessary
- Mentor leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile methodologies and principles
- Help manage risks and dependencies within the project
- Identify and escalate impediments while tracking their status
- Improve value flow within value streams leveraging the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps practices
- Facilitate system and solution demonstrations
- Promote continuous improvement through Inspect and Adapt workshops; evaluate the agility levels of the ART and Solution Train and assist in their enhancement
