Senior Forescout Engineer

- Provide engineering support for Comply to Connect across various DoD networks and classification domains. - Set up and maintain network analysis and monitoring tools, including health reporting and alerting. - Offer recommendations to enhance stability, availability, reliability, and performance of networking infrastructure. - Tackle intricate networking and technological issues involving multiple stakeholders. - Create process and architectural diagrams. - Deliver technical expertise on remediation of all open findings from DISA STIGs. - Prepare program status reports and briefings for internal management, senior leadership, and government oversight officials. - Demonstrate a solid understanding of enterprise computing environments, distributed applications, and TCP/IP networks, including proficiency with ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco, Juniper, and Brocade switches. - Have an advanced understanding of operating systems such as Linux, Windows, Macintosh, and UNIX. - Exhibit strong troubleshooting skills and conduct root-cause analysis in complex systems and extensive environments. - Experience in installing, implementing, and troubleshooting network access control security solutions. - Basic understanding of programming languages, including C, Java, and Perl. - Embrace a hands-on approach while being able to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Collaborate well within a team environment and self-manage tasks to achieve success. - Communicate effectively across the organization, providing detailed descriptions of issues, status updates, recommendations, and reports while demonstrating strong organizational skills.
