Requirements
Must:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Active Secret security clearance, with the capability to acquire a Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information indoctrination (TS/SCI)
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Minimum of 12 years of cloud experience, including at least 6 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Current DoD 8140 IAT Level II (Security+ or higher)
- Availability to work onsite 5 days a week
- Hands-on experience supporting Federal / DoW environments with compliance requirements
- Practical application of Zero Trust principles in a cloud setting
- Proficient in cloud computing technologies for both Windows and Linux, with demonstrated experience in Compute, Storage, and Networking within Azure
- Familiarity with Azure monitoring tools, including Microsoft Sentinel and Log Analytics (KQL)
- Skilled in scripting languages (like PowerShell and Python) and Azure CLI
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to evaluate costs and benefits of various actions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of engaging with a broad range of stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Design and uphold secure cloud infrastructure in an Azure environment, enabling application deployment and platform services
- Develop and sustain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform, Azure ARM templates, or Bicep
- Configure and oversee Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, VNET, VPN Gateway, VLAN segmentation, and DNS
- Engineer and maintain identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID, AD, SSO/Federation, and integrated ICAM solutions like PingFederate
- Implement and maintain boundary controls, PKI infrastructure, and encryption protocols
- Assist in the deployment and operation of enterprise platforms such as Elasticsearch and O365 within Azure cloud
- Support encryption, data tagging, and secure data sharing with enterprise Data Centric Security (DCS) solutions like Virtru
- Create network diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and maintain implementation/audit-ready documentation
- Aid in RMF documentation, security assessments, and compliance efforts
- Provide technical mentorship to mid-level cloud engineers
- Design disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for the Azure cloud
- Assist in cloud cost optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders on defining and executing cloud adoption strategies
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
