Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and analyze user requirements
- Perform task analysis and develop conceptual models
- Design user interfaces and information architecture
- Lead participatory and iterative design sessions including usability testing
- Create user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards, and design prototypes
- Effectively communicate design rationale and research findings both verbally and visually
- Plan and facilitate collaborative critique sessions
- Work closely with visual designers and development teams to meet user goals
- Design and develop engaging web pages and applications
- Produce proof-of-concepts and prototypes of user-friendly interfaces
- Research user needs and potential system enhancements
- Execute usability testing and analyze results to recommend system improvements
