Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree (BS/BA) with 6+ years of relevant experience in the field, or a High School Diploma with 8+ years of pertinent experience
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Applications
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Comprehensive knowledge of PowerPoint
- Familiarity with automated financial systems and budget report generation
Responsibilities
- Act as a budget analyst for the Exploration Technologies & Systems Development Division (ST20)
- Conduct strategic budget analysis to investigate financial data and provide essential insights and options for effective budget planning and execution
- Utilize financial systems to generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, and communicate budget and workforce status to management and clients
- Monitor and oversee budgets, including preparing phasing plans, PPBE submissions, and conducting cost analyses
- Review, analyze, and present budget and workforce status with detailed variance explanations, impacts, and solutions
- Assess and track contract funding status
- Use extensive experience and judgment to coordinate business activities, make decisions, and achieve goals independently with minimal supervision
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize work from various clients while consistently meeting deadlines
- Exhibit effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats, engaging confidently in meetings
- Maintain strong interpersonal and analytical skills and uphold confidentiality of information
