Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- DOD 8570-01M certification: IAM Level I or higher (e.g., Security+)
- Experience with Linux administration, including patching, STIG, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in DevOps, GitLab, Configuration Management, Cloud Infrastructure, and Automation with scripting skills in PowerShell and Python
- Familiarity with Cloud Formation, Automation, PowerShell, or similar Linux scripting
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform
- Knowledge in container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker
- Expertise in implementing cloud security measures, including encryption settings, VPC endpoint policies, and security group restrictions
- Practical technical experience in network and transport protocols, tools, and techniques
- Strong understanding of IP Networking concepts such as VPCs, VPNs, VRFs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls
- Experience in developing and maintaining systems architecture and configuration documentation
- At least 5 years of experience with customer-facing cloud projects involving Azure and/or AWS
- Over 7 years of IT platform implementation experience, showcasing technical and analytical skills
- In-depth knowledge of Azure and/or AWS/cloud-based technologies with a willingness to expand expertise
- Minimum of 3 years in progressively responsible roles providing technical and cloud solutions
- Demonstrated focus on customer needs along with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and partners to design, deploy, document, accredit, and maintain innovative cloud solutions across various platforms
- Oversee security compliance, remediation, and patch management for both classified and unclassified environments; assess client issues and determine appropriate technologies and delivery strategies
- Successfully navigate a hybrid work environment, spending up to 4 days a week on-site at a SCIF
- Effectively communicate with clients, contract program managers, industry partners, ECS senior management, and government representatives
- Offer leadership and inventive ideas in business capture and proposal preparation
- Monitor industry trends to inspire innovation and excellence in solutions across various functional areas
- Work in tandem with operations, technical and business development managers, and ECS Centers of Excellence on critical components of large-scale solutions
