Aerial lineman - telecom technician

- Prioritize safety in all operations and tasks. - Operate a boom truck safely, climb poles when necessary, and utilize standard tools proficiently. - Inspire and lead the crew to adhere to OSHA, customer, and ElectriComs safety standards and project objectives. - Follow directions from supervisors diligently. - Communicate professionally with coworkers, clients, and homeowners. - Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. - Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair overhead fiber optic lines. - Read and understand engineering plans and specifications accurately. - Comprehend separation and clearance regulations. - Install poles and position wires and cables as needed. - Maintain detailed records of work activities. - Access installation and construction sites using bucket trucks, ladders, crawl spaces, ceilings, tunnels, and trenches as required. - Work at heights, using ladders, aerial devices or gaffing techniques. - Climb multiple telephone poles daily, approximately 20 feet high. - Lift or pull up to 100 pounds repeatedly throughout the day. - Endure prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking. - Bend, twist, squat, and reach overhead consistently during tasks. - Use both hands continuously to operate tools and perform job duties. - Work full-time outdoors in various weather conditions. - Complete required training sessions (LMS, OSHA-10 hour, etc.). - Conduct roadside traffic control as needed.
