Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the utility or construction sector.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving history.
- Preferred possession of a valid CDL.
- Capability to successfully pass a DOT physical examination.
- Willingness to travel as required.

- Prioritize safety in all tasks.
- Operate boom trucks safely and climb poles when necessary.
- Lead and inspire the team to adhere to safety guidelines and meet project specifications.
- Follow directions from supervisors effectively.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, homeowners, and clients.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair overhead fiber lines.
- Read and comprehend engineering plans and specifications.
- Understand separation and clearance regulations.
- Install poles and position wires and cables.
- Keep precise records of work activities.
- Access various installation points using bucket trucks, ladders, crawl spaces, and trenches as necessary.
- Work from heights utilizing ladders, aerial devices, or by climbing.
- Climb multiple telephone poles daily, approximately 20 feet high.
- Lift and/or pull up to 100 pounds multiple times a day.
- Endure prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking as required.
- Perform bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching actions throughout the day.
- Utilize both hands to operate tools and carry out other tasks.
- Work full-time outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Attend routine training as assigned (such as LMS and OSHA-10 hour).
- Manage roadside traffic control as needed.
