Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
- Proficiency in Python for server-side development
- Familiarity with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
- Understanding of relational database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and basic SQL knowledge
- Experience with version control systems, especially Git
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to thrive in a teamwork setting
- Nice to Have: Familiarity with Python web frameworks (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
- Nice to Have: Exposure to RESTful API design and development
- Nice to Have: Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Nice to Have: Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker
- Nice to Have: Experience with MQTT or similar messaging protocols for IoT applications
- Nice to Have: Involvement in personal projects or contributions to open-source initiatives
- Nice to Have: Interest in AI, machine learning, or IoT technologies
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain web applications utilizing Python and contemporary frontend frameworks
- Write clean, effective, and thoroughly documented code adhering to best practices
- Design and execute database schemas and craft optimized queries
- Collaborate with colleagues to comprehend requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Engage in code reviews and contribute to the enhancement of development processes
- Troubleshoot and debug issues throughout the full stack
- Assist in API integration and the incorporation of third-party services
- Support testing, deployment, and comprehensive documentation of applications
